Our Rehabilitation Approach

Our Hawaii-based dog rehabilitation program is rooted in trust, patience, and positive reinforcement. We focus on creating a safe and structured environment for your dog to grow and heal. Our process includes:
  1. In-Home Initial Evaluation
    We start by understanding your dog’s history, current behavior, and triggers. This helps us identify the root cause of the issue and develop a tailored plan.
  2. Behavior Modification Training:
    Using gentle, reward-based techniques, we address specific behaviors such as aggression, fear, or anxiety. Our goal is to replace undesirable behaviors with positive actions.
  3. Socialization Programs:
    We help your dog become more comfortable around people, other dogs, and unfamiliar environments, reducing reactivity and building confidence.
  4. Ongoing Support:
    Rehabilitation doesn’t stop when training sessions end. We provide owners with tools, techniques, and guidance to maintain their dog’s progress at home as well as on going or as-needed Advanced Training Sessions

$200 per session (+40 for additional dog)

Puppy Training

Start your puppy off right by teaching them essential skills, beginning with proper dog socialization within the A Pet Perspective (APP) Pack. Through supervised interactions, your puppy will learn how to engage appropriately with other dogs, setting the stage for a lifetime of confident social behavior.
Our program also covers the basics, including potty training and foundational obedience commands like sit, stay, and leash walking. These skills are crucial for a well-behaved dog, making daily life easier and more enjoyable. We address common puppy challenges such as chewing, nipping, and crate training, providing you with the tools to guide your puppy through these formative months.
By focusing on these key areas, you’re setting your puppy up for success and building a strong, positive relationship that will last a lifetime.

The B-Mod Special:
​for problem behaviors

We consider problem behaviors any behaviors that are undesirable or are unnecessarily interrupting your or your dog’s life. We create a custom behavior modification plan and work with you step by step to help you both get back on track.

Advanced Training

All the resources of A Pet Perspective at your disposal. Take your training to the next level using our private training lots or going out to specific locations for environmental training, use dogs from the APP pack in training set ups, and an APP trainer to guide you through every step along the way. You’ve got extra special goals and we’ll help you get there.
