Meet the Pack

Sean is a Dog Behavior Psychologist who received his psychology degree from The University of Georgia, and specialized in applied animal behavior. Since graduating in 2010 he has dedicated his life to understanding dog psychology and behavior specifically, and learning how to help dogs who suffer from an unbalanced life that leads to problem behaviors.
He’s got a soft spot for the big misunderstood bitey-barky dogs

Kaimana is a student of ethology and dog trainer studying under the Ethology Institute Cambridge. She applies her understanding of natural animal behaviors to dog training and well-being. She is dedicated to helping dogs and humans live a more balanced life together.
She claims could spend all day doing acclimation and exposure training with puppies.

Pono, also known as Professor Pono, is senior faculty at APP. His primary job is modeling calm, tolerant behavior for puppies and small dogs, as well as assisting with dog-dog reactive training. When he’s not working he likes to lay around with a Jolly Pet toy in his mouth.

Bodhi is APP’s go to demo dog. He helps with dog-dog reactivity, modeling end-goal behaviors, and training handlers. When he’s not working with clients, he is Sean’s working service dog. When he finally gets sometime to himself he still likes to spend it with Sean.

Valkyrie, called “Val” by friends and clients, is an apprentice at APP. You’ll typically find her doing socialization training with clients, but she’s taking on more responsibilities working in dog-dog reactive training and behavior modeling. When she’s not working she enjoy’s herding the ducks and chickens she lives with.

Whiskey is an intern at APP. She assists in socialization training and occasionally behavior modeling. She really enjoys working with other dogs and hopes to move to a full-time position by next year. When she’s not working you can find her out training with Kaimana.
